Things that have happened!

Well hello! Just thought I'd fill you in a little bit!

Molly has been going so amazingly well recently I can't fault her anyway! This summer has been my best by far with that amazing little mare! Really could not ask for more! So while she's on a good streak the other day I decided 'I'm gonna go on a hack just me and mol!' So that's what we did, groomed, tacked up and went out! For the first minute out or so she was quite tense and had a little spook at stuff but nothing massive and relaxed very quickly! I was so impressed with her, she just went out and hacked perfectly! Makes me so proud the change in her!! Horses are so rewarding!! I also had to get her some things at scope when that was on so she's had a new saddle pad and fly veil, matching of course, and she looks adorable! 

I've also put her back in her original but which is weaker and she has never worked so well, she listens so well in it and I'm just am happy with her in general right now! 

Another thing about her that makes me really happy is she's become a lot closer to me and we have a very real, very proper bond. It makes me incredibly happy knowing how much she trusts me because she will only trust people she really knows and the way she trusts people she knows well and me are completely different also, she's a very sensitive mare and it makes me so happy how comfortable she is with me. 

I really could not be happier with this stage of my life right now and I'm so pleased with everything. Mol is perfect and has just come on so much recently and I have really noticed so many differences in her from when I bought her and I'm also feeling on the top of the world so we're both incredibly happy with life at the moment! As I hope you all are to!

Hello my little horsey people!

Well I am SO proud of my little pony today! I just can't begin to describe it! If you know me you'll know Mol and I have only ever been cross country schooling once and this place that didn't have very inviting small jumps for first timers so it wasn't really the best thing for Mol and I and so it could have been better but that doesn't matter!

So today, we went xc again but to a different place and she was so stroppy at the first jump i almost gave up there and then but i pushed on and did it and we made it through to the next part! Now before i carry on i'd like to just point out my pony is 13.2 in height and 17 years old in age.
We started properly with little logs and stuff and as we went on I felt more and more confident each time, and having my faith restored back into Mol. We did pretty much everything and some of the things were quite big for a little pony and she took it all in her stride and jumped pretty much everything I asked! Now, we were going round enjoying life when hello, big tire and brick wall jumps pop up! Now in hindsight, these weren't actually big, but they were a hell of a lot bigger than what we had been jumping compared to Katie and Tammy so to me they look terrifying! Obviously I was talked into doing them wasn't I? Now the tires i could deal with and i was very happy when she did them but then they made me do the brick wall. This was the most terrifying thing i did and can you imagine coming up to a solid brick wall on a awkward, full of surprises, small pony? Yeah, i was wetting myself but being the superstar pony she is, Mol flew it and took me by complete surprise! She was amazing! There were many jumps i doubted her at and she proved me wrong! Two others in particular, a huge skinny and a house that looked scary as hell. Obviously there were a lot of other jumps in between but some we had mishaps on and what not but pretty much everything i asked for, she did eventually, one way or another. (sings one way or another) :D
Anyway, this skinny looked massive, and Mol needs short run ups anyway because of how she rides, so I wasn't exactly feeling tip top into this fence, but she beasted into it and flew it like it was absolutely nothing. I was so so pleased and just wow, I forgot so many times throughout the day her size because she has a huge heart of gold and is the bravest little pony i know.
Now, the house, I really thought she was going to pull out of because it was quite open both side and if there's a gap, Mol's going through it I can assure you. So the first time she did, however the second time I tapped her with my whip and really said  "No, you are going over this, you've done far worse!" and can you guess? She flipping flew it like it was nothing. For some reason those two were my proudest moments of the day by far!!
I really do forget this little pony's height and age, as she makes up for it hugely in her work.

All ponies were good and Katie and Del did one of the biggest on the course which i can tell you now i'd never attempt in a million years, so hats off to both of them as Katie rode it perfectly and Del flew it! Was a proud moment i can assure you! I forget he's only 6! He's ace!
Tilly was amazing and did everything asked so it was a really good day all round for all of us! Could not be happier if i tried!

Summer is amazing, end of!

Hello my lovelys!

So summer is AMAZING, im having the time of my life and i haven't been this happy in a long time! this is the best year of my life by far and i would have had it any way! Molly is doing amazing and has been going exceptionally well, she is now back to the weight i like her at and now it's just about getting her fitness back up! We've been out places and molly has passed all my expectations, yes we've had moments but we've only been to 3 shows and the chase once so we're doing well for me! Had my fuzz ball a year now and wow we have come on so much, love my pony wish she didn't have to go anywhere:(

Oh well! i have no time to be sad in this crazy summer of fun! So I've had Del to look after and ride this week and i love him so much! I treat him like my own and honestly I've learnt so much just by riding him so incredibly grateful for the opportunity off Katie, it means an awful lot! Mol's had a lot of different people ride her this week and she's been exceptional for everyone, i'm so happy! Del has been foot perfect for me and i just couldn't have asked for anymore of either of them this week, it's been fab! However Mol has been silly and yesterday when me and Soph were hacking the ponies out, she spooked at a plastic bag flying on the road and tucked her bum underneath her and slipped, falling onto her side, yet I'm so proud of both Soph and Mol as both were straight up and very calm about it! Even Del turned to run off and then stopped and let me walk him over to Mol and check her over and they were both very calm so I was so proud! Mol came away with two cuts on her leg which could have been a lot worse and Soph was fine, Mol is completely sore and letting me touch it happily so I'm very happy with that! She had the day off today so i schooled Del and he was absolutely foot perfect which i was very pleased with, especially when he was doing canter circles on his bad rein so that was good! He's getting the day off tomorrow and I'm going to ride Mol tomorrow and see how she goes, if she seems fine we'll do some canter work but if not we'll stick to whatever she wants and feels best doing, i just need to know she's okay with a rider on her back after yesterday but she's trotting around the field fine so we'll see! And then we're going to be playing jumping ponies with Faye as the photographer on Saturday which I'm very much looking forward to!

Also, I saw Emma on Tuesday! We had a ton of fun, she rode Mol and I rode Del and then we swapped for a little bit, both ponies were perfect as usual and worked very well, despite not being ridden for very long, still very happy with them both! We spent most of the day in horsey shops looking at hats for Emma as she's looking into getting a new one, which reminded me on what i need for Christmas haha! Oh well we had a really good day and i tried my first subway which i thoroughly enjoyed, thanks em! We then we to see egg man and em just gave him a near death school bareback in the field which was hilarious oh dear haha! Oh well we had fun which is what matters so that was good! Was so good to have a catch up with Em as I don't get to see her often, yay for summer!

So no pictures as they're still on my camera but I will try and get some of the ponies jumping on Saturday which will be fun!

Something a little different.

Hello! So this isn't horsey today! 

Basically, I would like to confess something, I am a fangirl, strong and proud. And I like to obsess and revolve my life around the wonderful being that is Benedict Cumberbatch, and I am not ashamed. I am very much in love with this fabulous man and the wonderful show that is Sherlock. I can not get enough of the intelligence and hilarity of this show. The writing and acting is fabulous and just omg sjhsusjbaba I can't. I don't even care how sad it seems but I have come to the point where I am so in love with the show and this man that I have nearly a hundred photos of him on my phone and he's my lock screen. I watch Sherlock over and over again and I love it more and more each time! So I hope I'm not alone, but I'm in looove and I don't even care! Someone join me so I can reference this show and people will understand!

Riding is tiring!

Aloha pony people! 

So yesterday I went to see my good friend Mel and ride her very speedy, very excitable welsh d, cassie! I still love the madness of her and jumping her was a load of fun;) I was working on getting her to collect instead of beating into jumps as Mel asked me to and she was leaping and side stepping and everything, it was entertaining to say the least!;) after I had finished, cassie was dripping with sweat and I mean she was soaked so I gave her a rest and got on mel's sister's pony pippin, he's so adorable and just a ploddy little cutie, and I can't get over that he's 21! He's lovely and I jumped him a little as Alicia gave me permission and it was the cutest thing ever! Got to love the oldies! After we had finished at mel's, we went to see mol and ride her, I rode her and she was perfect as usual and then mel's daughter fliss rode her and popped her over a tiny little jump, it was the cutest thing ever! Mol looked after her so well and I couldn't have asked anymore of her because I jumped her after and she was a speedy little beast once again! Katie also rode del and let me ride him again, got to love him! Gave him a little jump as Katie asked me to and I'm really starting to get used to him, I love him! He's such a beast and I can't get over how lovely he is! 

So all round I jumped 4 ponies yesterday and came to the conclusion, riding is tiring and is a workout at times, but I love it lots! Got a lot planned next week so keep in touch! Here's some cute photos of mel's little boy and del to make you smile!

We went a place!

So today, we decided to go on a rather spontaneous trip to Cannock chase with the ponies! It was so much fun and me and mol both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Mol was an absolute star and lead most of the way, she didn't batt an eyelid at anything and even stood for 5 minutes while about 6 people petted her, it was adorable! We went pass loads of dogs and Molly's never been good with dogs and she just looked at them and walked past! We went for a canter though water which I was exceptionally proud of as she's never been the bravest of ponies, especially with water! She even led when we cantered/galloped up a rather steep hill and she just tried her little heart out bless her! So proud! Defiantly not the same spooky pony I bought last year! 

Del was an angel to, he also lead some of the way which is a big thing for him and he also cantered through the water and lead through that etc! 

Both ponies were exceptional and me and Katie couldn't have been prouder of how confident they both were! So happy!

Too many ponies!

Hello! So basically, yesterday I went to see Amy and her new loan pony jordie as I now have time with the 6 weeks, he's ace! I can't sing his praises enough! Jumped everything I asked and was deffo a confidence giver when it came to jumping! This was all after Amy had ridden him and she'll come on so much with him! They're such a cute pair, bless them! Then after that, in the evening, I went up to the ponies with Katie and we rode our pair, mol was an absolute angel again, little bit head strong though! Think it was because she hasn't ridden with del in ages but still she was really good! Fiona came down to say hi and we had a nice chat with her and then I rode del as well, he was ace as per usual and again true to kill me!;) no I joke, he had one bronk on his bad rein but he was fine after I took him round again on it, gotta love the ride he gives you haha! 

This summer is looking ace! Lots of people and ponies to see and a few to ride, Im very excited! Unfortunately Claude had no memory card in him so there was no pictures taken:( but I will get more when I see other people and of the ponies over summer!:D

where did the time go?

i am a very naughty blogger! oh gosh, i did not realise it has been so long as since February! A LOT has happened in that time! since then me and mol have reached new heights, and conquered new fears, quite literally! basically, its coming up to summer and in two weeks i will have had my dear little pony face for a year, i could not be more delighted to have met this gorgeous little thing. its really insane to read back through my blogs and see how far we've both come! i no longer have a fat, lazy pony but a bright, loving, amazing best friend. she's more than i could have ever asked for in every single way! listen to me blabbing on and getting all soppy! it's a real shame though because i have pretty much outgrown her and that sucks a lot:( but at least i get to spend our anniversary with her for definite as we break up for summer on Friday, YAY! i am so excited for this summer, i have a good feeling about it for some reason! i have plans in my head that need to happen and friends i want to see, and ponies and ah i love life at the moment! On Friday, Faye is staying over so hopefully i will blog some pony things as i have not had a horsey day in a good month or so and oh my gosh it's been too long! i also got a new camera for my birthday and i think i have found a new love, photography. obviously i'm not a 'photographer' but it's still something i really enjoy and love. i really do prefer being behind the lens than in front of it! so recently, not much has happened, however since we last spoke, a lot has! we have been to shows, cross country schooling, improved and all round just had fun! im really looking forward to my equine future as well as just the summer, and the rest of this year! it's by far been one of the best yet! so no photos today but hopefully some soon!

Up, up and away!

So, molly is feeling fantastic at the moment! And I'm so excited for the months ahead! I nearly have all my show stuff together and I have plans for nearly every weekend this month and for march/April! I'm currently working in getting her fitter and it seems to be going well as she's moving the quickest she ever has recently haha! Which also means i have zero brakes -.- she also keeps getting her tongue over the bit, urgh pony! So there's more money for a new bridle! Sigh -.-

so today i went on a hack and did some jumps before hand and she felt amazing to, over and after the jumps! In fact the best she ever has!! Yay! She was fab on the hack and she just feels amazing :') so tomorrow I'm picking up a drawing i had done and thats just one of the things i had up my sleeve, there's more still!!

Next weekend, I'm having a horsey day with Emma, Beth and Hannah so that should be good, and should get some nice photos! And she's also being shod that weekend to as her hooves keep chipping, sigh, money everywhere!

Beasty pony!

Hey you guys! So molly has been feeling AMAZING at the moment and continues to impress me every time i get on her! Yesterday i had a lovely ride, hacked her down to Sophie's yard and we had no spins or stops and her trotting was active and lovely! However she still has yet to learn that there's a fast walk between a plod and a trot haha!! She seems to be going a lot better with a whip though as i jumped her yesterday and she pinged them all, she was slightly hyper so i guess that helped but i was so impressed with how she did!! Love her!! Today is her day off and tomorrow she will be worked again, as we're hacking with a friend back up there and doing 2'6! Determined! And then after that we're off for a gallop to get back my normal pony haha!! So that was good!! I still have exciting news up my sleeve and that will all be out next week!! :D so here's some pictures for you!!

naughty lottie!

hello strangers!! i have literally been like, the worst blogger ever, but i have some very exciting news to reveal very shortly ;)

however, since i last blogged, things have gone up and down! molly was clipped and omg she was a superstar, i was nearly crying with joy watching it! i couldn't believe it was the same pony i bought nearly 6 months ago or would buck and chuck you off and spook at everything, left right ad center! the only problem she had with it was near her ears, but she's always been bad about them, but she will happily let me touch them now! her clips looks fab and at some point Mary will finish the little bits off but we just haven't managed to get round to doing so as I've been ill, mum's work shifts and then SNOW!!

so yeah, we now have snow! and as much as i love it, i hate it! i haven't seen pony in 2 days! :( however, when it first started i had a cheeky ride in it whilst everyone else was busy working away at school ;) i'm so naughty haha :D so that's been fun, molly's reaction to it was a little funny, not sure whether she hates it or loves it! i went to get her in on the first very snowy day and she galloped straight up to me and bucked haha! and i was leading her in she had her head in and was prancing, which annoyed mummy very much may i say! oh well, ponies for you!

however, not everything's been great, molly has been bucking very frequently and very big recently, so i'm going to get a half pad to see if it helps, if not, someone will be coming to have a look at it! i'll keep you all updated!

but in the world of news, molly's having a new stable buddy next weekend and i'm quite excited! however things are a little pear shaped on that side of things so we'll have to see what happens!!
